Kristyn-Back-Headshot.jpgKristyn Back, Member Relations Chair, 29 years old

Kristyn is the Development Coordinator and newest member of Kate’s Club, an Atlanta-based nonprofit empowering children and teens who have lost a parent or sibling. In this position, she works closely with the Director of Development and Communications, securing funding opportunities, building donor relationships, and supporting communication efforts.Prior to Kate’s Club, Kristyn worked as a Development Associate with Park Pride a nonprofit organization working with communities to improve parks and greenspaces. In 2013, she earned her Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University. Kristyn also holds a BS degree in Communication Studies from Ohio University and moved to Atlanta in 2011.

Rachel is the General Manager of the Atlanta Chamber Players. Born and raised in Marietta, GA, Rachel left the south to attend Dartmouth College where she received a B.A. in English in 2002. Rachel spent most of the decade following her graduation working for the Tanglewood Music Center at the Boston Symphony Orchestra and then for Maryland Citizens for the Arts. She returned to her home state in 2011, and is excited to be at home and involved in her local community. In 2014, she received an MBA with Honors at Kennesaw State University. In addition to YNPN Atlanta, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Arts Network as their Vice President. She was a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission's 2015 cohort of Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta. An avid Twitterer, she can be found there at @RCiprotti.


TiffanyCoakley.jpgTiffany Coakley, Programs Chair; 29 years old

Tiffany is a District Executive with the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.In this position, she is responsible for increasing membership, fundraising, and providing the Scouting program in the Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Midtown, and East Atlanta area. She received her Master's in Public Administration concentrating in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University. Tiffany is also a proud alumni of University of South Florida where she received her undergraduate degree. During her free time, Tiffany loves to travel, root for any of her hometown Miami sports team, and catch up on her favorite podcast channels. Find Tiffany on LinkedIn.


Adena_Hill.jpg Adena Hill, 30 years old

Adena guides the Southeastern Council of Foundations in our evaluation and involvement in public policy work, supporting initiatives to protect and enhance philanthropy in the South. Adena’s passion for building communities and effecting systemic change is evidenced by her employment, community involvement and academic path. Prior to joining SECF, Adena led the advocacy and public policy efforts of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Adena has also served as a Social Worker and legal intern in multiple settings including a shelter, a foster family agency and a behavioral center, and law firms and clinics. Adena is also committed to volunteerism and community service and currently serves on the board for iDream, Inc., a youth empowerment organization, and as a mentor with St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and SKIRTS, Inc.. Adena was recognized as a 2014 Young Nonprofit Network (YNPN) Atlanta 30 under 30 awardee for her work and commitment to the sector. Adena received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, and a law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA. Dominique_Hite.jpg Dominique Hite, 24 years old

Dominique is the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs – Arts in Education Services department. She is responsible for assisting the Arts in Education Program Director and program managers with the administrative tasks for the Contracts for Arts Services program (CAS) and Cultural Experience Project program (CEP). Dominique graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2014 with a B.A. in Studio Art. Outside of work, she enjoys attending arts and cultural events through the city, playing with her dog, sliding through Pinterest and snacking on anything dark chocolate.


EricaHoneycutt_headshot.jpgErica Honeycutt, 29 years old

Erica is a Marketing Coordinator at Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering firm. Although she recently transitioned into the private sector, her passion for supporting non-profit organizations and professionals still holds strong. Her past experience includes working as an assistant grant writer at the Center for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University where she won the INNovation Fund Award from the Institute for Nonprofit News to create a membership program for one of the Center's publications. She recently completed a 2015 Diversity Fellowship with the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Greater Atlanta and spent the past year serving on the Finance and Fundraising Committee of YNPN Atlanta. Her career transition from a life in the theatre to a marketing and development professional can be attributed to an internship at Actor's Express Theatre where she learned just how good it feels to help an organization become more financially sustainable. Erica received her BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.


Lauren_Jeong-2014-681x1024.jpgLauren Jeong, Chair, Governance Chair; 24 years old

Lauren is a Program Associate for the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, where she works on multiple grantmaking projects and initiatives, primarily focusing on academic scholarships.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Lauren worked at Foundation Center, where she was responsible for marketing, fundraising, and programming for young nonprofits. In this role, Lauren worked on the development and launch of the Nonprofit Startup Assessment, an online tool that helps individuals evaluate their decision to start a nonprofit. Lauren also held internships with the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and Prevent Child Abuse Georgia. Lauren graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in Public Policy from Georgia State University. In her free time, Lauren enjoys baking, reading, long walks, and yoga.



NicoleMichalecHeadshot.jpgNicole Michalec, Treasurer, 37 years old

Nicole is the Campaign and Long-Term Giving Coordinator at the Woodruff Arts Center. She is currently working on the $100 million Transformation Campaign, which will physically transform the campus and provide greater access to the arts. Previously she was a Programs Educator at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, where she managed their children’s exhibit, as well as coordinating a variety of drop-in programs, educational carts, and special exhibit interactive spaces. Nicole has a Bachelor’s degree in studio art with a focus on sculpture as well as degree in art education. She is certified to teach art to K-12th grade students in the state of Georgia.

Kate_Naylor_2014.jpg Kate Naylor, Finance & Fundraising Chair; 30 years old

Kate is the Program Coordinator in charge of the membership program for the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University. In the past, she has held a number of other positions with other museums, including two and a half years years as the volunteer coordinator for Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Prior to joining YNPN Atlanta, she volunteered in the Vendor Relations Department of Dragon*Con Atlanta for thirteen years, including two years as an Assistant Director. Kate is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Florida State University, where she received an M.A. in Classical Civilizations with a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, baking, and watching Netflix at home, often in the company of her fiance, cat, and two ball pythons. Find Kate on Linkedin.


Sarah-Headshot.jpgSarah Otto-Wang, Secretary; 30 years old

Sarah is an avid advocate of urban growth that promotes equitable access to public resources and services. Her areas of expertise include: sustainable development, community health, and cross-sector collaboration. She is a former Fellow of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership and CARE USA. As an AmeriCorps Vista with Culture Connect, she oversaw multiple education and advocacy projects that enhanced cross-cultural awareness within the Atlanta community. In 2014, she received her Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Urbanization and Food Security. Her B.A. is in Religious Studies and Social Justice from Agnes Scott College. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two dogs, enjoys binge-reading novels and nonfiction, and is planning a dream vacation to bike tour Taiwan. Find Sarah on LinkedIn.


AlyssaRodriguez.jpg Alyssa Rodriguez, Professional Development Chair; 31 years old

Alyssa is the Resource Development Operations Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. A new-ish member of the nonprofit sector, Alyssa loves working for a mission-based organization. She is passionate about healthy lifestyles and workforce development. Alyssa graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Business. During her free time, Alyssa indulges in fitness, puppy playtime and any activity involving a scenic skyline.
